Despite Alec's Reservations that Trevor was too young to benefit from organized soccer, I decided to fudge on his birthdate a little and sign him up for an 8 week session of soccer. They required that he be at least 18 months. I figured that Trevor wouldn't be behind in the mobility area, but wasn't realizing that most of the other kids would be well over a year older, which is a huge difference at that age. Well, our first session was this past weekend... And once again, Alec May have been correct;).
While Trevor loved chasing the balls and throwing them, he wasn't so much up for the organized team stretching or waiting in lines to take a shot on goal. After about 45 minutes of us having our own morning soccer outing, we left the practice area and requested we hold off until at least next season!
So now, we need to find something else to get us out of the house on Saturdays once the new babe arrives!
